The Utah Valley Alano Club is a non-profit 501(c)3. Our mission is to support twelve-step recovery by providing space for meetings, a place to gather, and outreach to the community. The Club is managed by a Board of Directors. The Board is made up with substantial recovery time. Each Board Member assumes responsibility for a specific operational area in line with their background. Board members serve three year terms.

  • Neal Wagner, Vice President and Operations

    Retired after 25 years in Human Resources leadership at Nokia and Hewlett-Packard.

  • Chris Talbot, Treasurer

    Owner; OVapes Ejuice, LLC with experience overseeing all business operations.

  • Nick Stewart, Secretary

    Director of Operations, Elements Design showroom with 18 years director of operations and marketing for TaiPan Trading.

  • John Ragan, Construction Management

    Owner of Complete Contracting Company, LLC. with 37 years of experience. Managing Partner of Nexstep Medical Detox, LLC and Partner in Rightway Recovery, LLC

  • Ben Shepherd, Outdoor Construction Management

    Currently Vice President, Western Paving, Inc, managing $15M company, including all operations.

  • Brant Allred, Safety and Security

    Fire and security technician with 17 years experience in fire and security business.

  • Lura Franz, Meetings and Memberships

    Register Nurse with previous experience in office management including creating policies and procedures and implementation of software systems.

  • Lance Trimble, Digital Marketing

    15 years of web design, development, and marketing. Digital marketing, web development and online presence/brand management.

  • Patrick McKinney, Food and Entertainment

    Sales consultant for Sysco. Thirty years chef/foodservice consultant.
